1.
Individual
Therapy
Psychotherapy is effective for most mental, emotional and behavioral health issues. It has been linked with positive changes in the brain and body.
2.
Couples
Therapy
Couples should
seek therapy long before they think they "need" it. Studies have shown therapy to be roughly 75% effective in resolving relational issues.
3.
Addiction & Trauma Work
Confronting your feelings and seeking professional help is often the only way of effectively treating addiction and trauma.
4.
Family
Therapy
Family therapy can give members new skills to get through difficult situations in healthier ways.
My Approach
My focus is on relieving pain or discomfort and finding its root. Acknowledging and building on strengths and adaptive functioning is an important part of navigating the muck and confusion.
About me
I am a clinical psychologist licensed in Connecticut and New York. I earned both my doctorate and master’s degrees in clinical psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA and an undergraduate degree from UCLA.
Getting Help
Acknowledging the desire for help and taking the first steps can be the most difficult part of the process. A good fit between patient and therapist is an essential aspect of any successful treatment. Schedule an initial consultation to determine the best fit for you before committing to the therapeutic process.
